Free marketing audit

Find out what a booked job actually costs you.

Most owners cannot answer that question, and that is the real finding. We go through your website, ad accounts, search visibility and follow-up by hand and put the answer in writing — along with what to fix first.

  • A written document, not a dashboard screenshot or an automated score.
  • Reviewed by a person who has run these accounts, not generated by a tool.
  • Yours to keep and act on, with us or without us.
  • No obligation, no follow-up sequence you cannot get out of.

What is a marketing audit, and what do you get?

A marketing audit is a hands-on review of everything that produces and handles enquiries: the website, the advertising accounts, search visibility, tracking, and the follow-up process. You get a written document naming what works, what is wasting money, what it is costing, and the order to fix it in.

The reason it is free is not generosity. It is that the audit is the only honest way to price the work. Quoting a retainer before seeing an ad account is guessing, and quoting low then discovering the real scope is how engagements go bad in month three.

Every finding is written the same way: what it is, what it is costing, and where it sits in the order of fixing. No score out of a hundred, because a score tells you nothing about what to do on Monday.

What it covers

Six areas, gone through by hand

Website & conversion
Your site · PageSpeed InsightsPage speed on mobile, the path from ad click to enquiry, form friction, and whether the pages people land on match what they searched for.
Advertising accounts
Google Ads · Meta AdsWasted spend, search-term leakage, conversion tracking accuracy, bidding strategy, and whether the account is optimising toward anything that resembles revenue.
Search & AI visibility
Search Console · Google Business ProfileWhere you rank for the services that actually make money, your Google Business Profile, and whether AI answer engines can find and correctly describe your business.
Lead handling
HubSpot · Salesforce · your inboxWhat happens to an enquiry at 9pm, how many calls go unanswered, how quickly quotes get followed up, and how many times.
Tracking & reporting
GA4 · Google Tag ManagerWhether you can currently answer "what did a booked job cost" — and what is missing if you cannot.
The tech underneath
Phone system · CRM · subscriptionsWhere the customer list lives, whether the phone system reports call sources, and which subscriptions are being paid for and not used.

How it works

From enquiry to plan in about a week

  1. You tell us the basics

    5 minutes

The form below, plus read-only access to whatever you already have — Google Ads, Analytics, Search Console, your CRM. Nothing gets changed, and we sign whatever confidentiality paperwork you need.

  2. We do the work

    3–5 business days

Someone goes through the site, the ad accounts, the search visibility, the tracking and the follow-up process by hand. This is not a tool generating a PDF score out of a hundred.

  3. You get it in writing

    Day 5

A written summary of what is working, what is leaking money, and the order to fix it in — with the reasoning, so it is useful to whoever you hand it to.

  4. We walk you through it

    30 minutes

A call to go over the findings and answer questions. If you want to take the document and implement it yourself, or hand it to your current agency, that is a legitimate outcome and we will not chase you.

Fit

Who this is worth doing for

The audit is worth your time if

  • You spend money on marketing every month and are not certain what it produces.
  • Leads come in but the phone does not ring as often as the reports suggest it should.
  • You have a website, some advertising and a CRM that were each set up by different people at different times.
  • You are about to increase spend and want to know whether the foundations will hold it.
  • An agency relationship is coming up for renewal and you want an independent read.

It probably is not worth it if

  • You have no website, no advertising and no enquiries yet — there is nothing to audit. Talk to us about a build instead.
  • You only want a price and will not share access to anything. We cannot audit what we cannot see.
  • You are looking for a document to justify a decision already made. We will write what the accounts say.
  • The business is not taking on new work. The findings would sit in a drawer.

Questions about the audit

Is the marketing audit really free?

Yes, and there is no obligation attached to it. It takes several days of real work, which is why we ask a few qualifying questions first rather than running one for anyone who clicks. The written document is yours regardless of what you do next.

What's the catch?

That some people read the audit, fix things themselves, and never hire us. That is fine — it is the cost of the audit being genuinely useful. In practice a document that shows exactly where the money goes tends to be a better sales argument than a deck.

What access do you need?

Read-only access to Google Ads, Google Analytics, Search Console and your CRM if you have them, plus your website URL. Nothing gets changed. If you would rather send screenshots and exports instead, that works, it just takes longer.

How long does it take?

Three to five business days from the point we have access. The walkthrough call is booked when the document is ready, and takes about thirty minutes.

What if I have no advertising running yet?

Then the audit is about the foundations: whether the site converts, whether tracking exists, what search demand there actually is for your services in your area, and what a sensible first budget would be. That version is often more useful, not less.

Will you tell me if my current agency is doing a good job?

Yes, including when the answer is that they are. We have handed back audits recommending a client keep their agency and change one thing internally. Saying otherwise when the account is well run would be easy to disprove and not worth the client.

Two audits, two different problems

This one covers marketing. If the thing keeping you up is the phone system, the file shares, security or where your customer data actually lives, that is thefree technology audit instead. Plenty of businesses do both.
